SANTA FE, N.M. - Santa Fe Police asked the neighborhood of Vuelta De La Luz to shelter-in-place overnight due to police activity in the area. The situation has since been resolved and shelter-in-place lifted.

Just after midnight, the police department tweeted out an alert saying they had closed Plaza Central from Paseo Del Sol west to Contenta Ridge.

It's not clear what led to the shelter-in-place but this story will be updated as details come into the newsroom.
