Northern New Mexico man charged with murder

ROCIADA, N.M. - A 60-year-old man is behind bars Monday, accused of shooting and killing a man following an argument.

It happened Saturday in the small town of Rociada, north of Las Vegas.

According to State Police William Daniels killed 46-year-old Roman Lucero. 

Police say the two men had gotten into a fight along N.M. 276 before the shots rang out. Lucero was pronounced dead at the scene.

Daniels has been charged with second-degree murder.
