ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Four of the seven teens charged in connection to a deadly botched robbery on Tramway in January will stay in custody until their trials.
Multiple judges decided they were a danger to the community.
This whole thing started at an apartment complex in northeast Albuquerque. Police say eight teens, some flashing guns, tried robbing a couple in a car.
But police say after a shot was fired, the husband pulled a gun and shot back, killing 14-year-old Alonzo Sanderson. He’s not facing charges.
On Monday, three district court judges ruled Levis Salas, Jonathan Gutierrez, Elijah Gutierrez and Janiyah Pino will remain in jail.
The ruling was the same last week for other teens involved.
