NMSP: Suspect killed in Roswell police shooting

ROSWELL, N.M. — New Mexico State Police is investigating a shooting involving the Roswell Police Department that left a suspect dead.

The shooting happened near the intersection of South Sunset and West McGaffey. The officers were uninjured.

NMSP is asking people to avoid the area.
