As many of you might have heard by now, I am leaving KOB TV.  After more than 20 years of covering local sports in the Land of Enchantment I am moving onto another chapter in my life.  Starting in March I will be working with the New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA).

I’m sure the first question you might have is, ‘why am I leaving?’  I love covering local sports.  I love where I work and the people I work with.  The truth is, I wouldn’t be leaving this job if it weren’t for an unbelievable opportunity to work with the NMAA and help make a positive impact on high school students.

I will still be around for another month or so.  My last day at KOB will be Monday March 12th, so I will save my tearful goodbye and thank you until then.  I don’t know who will be filling my shoes, but I know this station will remain dedicated to giving you the best local sports coverage that you’ve come to expect.
