Police: 2 arrested for gun brought to school in Gallup

GALLUP, N.M. — Two students in Gallup face serious charges after police said one of them brought a gun to Gallup High School.

According to the Gallup Police Department, officers were called to the school Monday just after 11 a.m. Officers arrested one student and booked them into the San Juan County Juvenile Detention Center on a gun charge

The next day, the high school called police again. They said they found video showing a second student helping the arrested student toss the gun.

That student faces charges now.
