Authorities arrest suspect in sexual assault of young girl

ROSWELL, N.M. — The Chaves County Sheriff’s Office found and arrested a man Roswell Police accuse of sexually assaulting a young girl.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested 26-year-old Jeremy Moore on Wednesday, a month after Roswell Police obtained a warrant for him. At the time of obtaining the warrant, they were unable to find Moore.

Police believe Moore may be a suspect in other sexual assault cases.
