Santa Fe police ID suspect, seek help to ID other suspects in stabbing and robbery

SANTA FE, N.M. — Santa Fe police are seeking your help to track down a suspect and to identify the other suspects in the alleged stabbing of a man during a robbery.
“With the help of our community after our request for assistance this weekend, Angelo Vigil, 26 years old, of Santa Fe, has been identified as one of the suspects involved in the attack, and an arrest warrant has been obtained,” police stated in a news release issued Tuesday.
Vigil faces charges of armed robbery, aggravated battery with great bodily harm and two counts of conspiracy.

The incident happened early Sunday morning. According to detectives, the victim met the suspects at a bar near the plaza. Shortly after leaving the bar, the victim said the men robbed him and stabbed him at least once during a fight.
The victim went to the hospital. He is expected to recover.
