Academy’s phenomenal turnaround leads to state quarterfinals

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque Academy boy’s basketball team is one of the best stories in the state – they went 2-10 last year and now they’re in the state quarterfinals.
The Chargers have won 9 games in a row, which led to their first district title since 2010. They will face St. Pius Wednesday at 6 p.m.
