Albuquerque High School tennis coach dies after battle with cancer

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.  - Albuquerque High School tennis coach Becky Lee died after a long battle with cancer.

"Becky had a remarkable career as head coach at Albuquerque High (2013-18). She led our program to two state championships and three Metro championships. The AHS community would like to express our most sincere condolences to the Lee family," said AHS Athletic Director Doug Dorame.

Lee led the Bulldogs to back-to-back state titles in 2015 and 2016. 

She was regarded as a fixture in the New Mexico tennis community.

Lee worked with the Southwest chapter of the United States Tennis Association.
