Boys Basketball: Santa Fe, Highland come out on top

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Santa Fe vs. Capital

Santa Fe and Capital High School went head-to-head for the district tiebreaker Tuesday night.


Lobo commit JB White had 28 points for the night.

The Santa Fe Demons were up by 10 points in the third, but the Jaguars fired back.

Charo Herrera had a baseline drive for the jam.

Capital took the lead in the fourth.

The Demons managed to pull away to win 67-62.

Santa Fe clinches the one seed in the 5-5A tournament.

Bernalillo vs. Highland

Bernalillo took on Highland in the first round of the 6-4A tournament.

In the third quarter, the Hornets were in control.

Jose Murillo was crashing the boards.

Highland wins 62-45.

They advance to play in the second round Wednesday.
