High school basketball: Atrisco excited to start practice

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- High school teams began practicing for the upcoming season on Monday.

Atrisco Heritage coming off back-to-back state championships.

They are expected to be contenders again this season. Their entire backcourt, including all state point guard Joziah Ramos is returning.

“It's the first real week that we can actually start practicing and start getting into our actual season, so it's really exciting," Ramos said.
