High school football: Adcox takes over as coach at Sandia

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Chad Adcox is the new head coach for Sandia High School's football team.

It's his first job since leading Manzano to a state title in 2017. 

After a year away from coaching, Adcox wants to get the Matadors back to the playoffs. 

"You have to believe in your process and what it is you're trying to do with your program," he said. "I think it was the program itself and the process that we had focused on that got us where we wanted to be."
