The Bears have been to the last two state championship games – winning it all last season.

They have about half of the starters back from last year, on both sides of the ball.

When it comes to 7-on-7, head coach Brandon Back likes to see the Bears competing.

"It's a great opportunity to see some of the other teams in the city," Back said. "It's just a chance to work on some little things, some little technique things and things like that. We're not trying to put people in starting positions, we're just trying to compete."
