High School football season begins in NM

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The high school football season opens Thursday night.

The defending champion La Cueva bears will take on the Volcano Vista Hawks.

It's a rematch of last year's season opener.

Both teams have high expectations once again.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Community Stadium.

More Games

Two other games will take place in Albuquerque Thursday night.

The Eldorado Eagles will take on the West Mesa Mustangs at Wilson Stadium.

Valley and Albuquerque high will square off at Milne Stadium.
