HS football: Los Lunas and Hope Christian come out on top

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The state football quarterfinals resumed Saturday around the state.

Los Lunas vs. Artesia

Los Lunas hosted Artesia.

Bryce Santana ran the ball five times and scored five touchdowns for the Tigers.

The senior player helped the Tigers advance 58-21.

Los Lunas will play Goddard in the state semifinals for the second year in a row.

Hope Christian vs. Cobre

The Huskies came up big in the second quarter.

Collin Evans found James Jenkins for the touchdown just before halftime.

Hope Christian won 61-7.

The Huskies will get a rematch with Robertson in the state semifinals.
