La Cueva volleyball team excited to get green light to start season

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Volleyball is among the sports that Albuquerque Public Schools will allow to return in the fall.

La Cueva will be attempting to win a state championship for the third year in the row.

Coach Steven Archibeque said his team can't wait to get back into the gym.

"It was great news for us, great news for the girls," he said. "They're really anxious, they're stressing out a lot, you know, 'cause we don't have any decisions. Now at least we get this step."
