Lobos continue to shuffle between quarterbacks

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Will it be Tevaka Tuioti or Sheriron Jones taking snaps for the Lobos? Head coach Bob Davie said it could be both.


Tuioti struggled for the second week in a row with two turnovers against San Jose State.

Jones gave the team a spark off the bench with three interceptions and three touchdowns.

The offense as a whole had six turnovers and nine penalties.

"We just didn't execute. We obviously we didn't win the game we wanted to win so now this upcoming weekend we have another chance to redeem ourselves," Tuioti said. "Before we move on you know it's important for us to identify the mistakes that we made."

That's the main focus to everything is the execution part, you know, the turnovers come, that's bad execution on my part," Jones said.

The Lobos will play Colorado State in Albuquerque Friday.
