Sandia High School basketball player no longer plans to play at Texas Tech

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- A top high school basketball player has reopened her recruitment.

Sandia's Viane Cumber announced she is no longer committed to Texas Tech.

Cumber's announcement came a few weeks after the Red Raiders fired their head coach.

Cumber led the Matadors to back-to-back trips to the state tournament. She averaged 22 points per game in her junior season.
