ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Sandia Matadors faced off against the West Mesa Mustangs Thursday.
The first time the Mustangs touched the ball, they got into the end zone. Daniel Ayala hit Anthony Rodriguez for the score 7-0.
West Mesa won the game 26-16.
