SANTA FE, N.M. – Everyone has a special place that brings them peace, but a horse ranch just outside of Santa Fe is a spot where a very special instructor brings peace to others.

Ashley Armijo is the program director at the New Mexico Center for Therapeutic Riding at the world-class Hipico Santa Fe Equestrian Facility.

Natalie Butler goes way back with Armijo, but she's always been amazed watching her friend help others find peace through horse therapy. She wanted to Pay It 4ward to her friend.

"She's there for anyone and everyone almost more so than herself," Butler said. "Sometimes I feel like she's there more for other people than she deals with her own things, and she's just so deserving of this and I'm so excited."
