Peter Lambert and his strong pitching arm are just a call away from the big leagues.

Lambert signed with the Rockies organization straight out of San Dimas High School in California. He then jumped right into the Minors when he was still a teenager.

“(It’s been a) pretty big adjustment that's for sure. It's a lot different coming into the professional lifestyle and the travel, the bus rides, the routines that you got to learn, but it was a lot of fun that's for sure,” Lambert said.

At age 21, Lambert has a bright future. With every pitch, he's getting closer to a call from the Rockies.

“Obviously, that's in the back of my mind but I try to keep that out of my head as much as I can,” Lambert said.
