Paul Weir, UNM head basketball coach, said they’ve been in this situation before.

“It happened to us last year at Boise, you are going out there and just, wow, everything that could go wrong, goes wrong,” Weir said.

With the game against the Aggies behind them, Weir wants the focus to be on St. Mary’s.

"[They’re a] terrific offensive basketball team, tremendous size, plays through the post, Ford is an exceptional player,” Weir said.

Tipoff for the game is 5 p.m.
