ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- After 12 straight days, the Isotopes have enjoyed some overdue time at home.

Playing for the home crowd gave the players a little pep in their step.

”It's always a lot of fun. There's a lot of people in the stands. They bring energy and it's a lot better when there's not a lot of people,” said Pat Valaika, second baseman for the Isotopes.

The five-game homestand with the El Paso Chihuahuas wraps up Monday night.

The Isotopes are looking for their fourth win of the series.
