ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – New Mexico State was seeking its first win of the season Saturday evening, but the Aggies' opponents were looking for something a bit sweeter: revenge.

Just over eight months after NMSU beat Utah State 26-20 in a historic Arizona Bowl, Utah State exacted vengeance with a 60-13 beatdown in Logan. The home Aggies racked up 446 yards of offense while limiting the visiting Aggies to just 280.

Utah State scored at least 13 points in every quarter; New Mexico State's lone endzone visit came in the first period.

New Mexico State and New Mexico will meet for their annual rivalry matchup next weekend with a combined record of 1-4. Kickoff is set off for 6 p.m. on Saturday.
