ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Lobo fans will get their first look at Carlton Bragg Sunday.

Bragg hasn't played college basketball for almost two years.

He last played at Kansas, where he averaged about 14 minutes per game.

At 6’10”, Bragg is a dominant presence inside.

Lobo Insider Lee Faria said Bragg will give the Lobos, who have relied on a lot of 3-pointers, options in the paint.

Coach Paul Weir said Bragg has been showing his leadership skills even though he hasn’t played in a game this season.

“If we have a person that is leading us right now, it's him. If we have a person that is calling out teammates, it's him. If we have a person saying touch that line, it's him, so that is really encouraging,” Weir said.

NCAA rules forced Bragg to sit out for part of the season after transferring from Arizona State, where he did not play.

The Lobos still have four games ahead of the conference season.

They play Central Arkansas Sunday at 2 p.m.

In the video above, Lee Faria shows exactly why Bragg is expected to be a force inside.
