ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The Lobos are spending their week off focusing on the offense.

Coach Bob Davie said he likes the way the team ran the ball against NMSU.

He said it was a big stride forward, considering they are limited with two injured quarterbacks.

“That is what has concerned me all along because we spent so much time with the quick game and the RPO game, all of a sudden we’re down there with no option because we can't get another one hurt,” Davie said.

The Lobos will return to action Sept. 29 against Liberty.
