Davie plans re-branded Lobo football program ahead of spring practice

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- UNM Head Football Coach Bob Davie is getting ready for spring practice.

It begins Tuesday.

Following back-to-back 3-9 season, Davie has instituted top-to-bottom changes within the program.

There are new offensive and defensive coordinators.

“We have to coach better and we have to play better,” Davie said. “We're going to have a lot of new faces playing, a lot of new faces. That's a positive. I mean, we have to re-brand our program."

Davie will welcome a new crop of recruits, including a group that enrolled early for the spring.
