After another three-win season, Davie said he wants to reboot the program.

"I am appreciative to have this opportunity to continue to build this and I mean that sincerely and I mean that towards fans,” Davie said.

UNM athletic director Eddie Nuñez pledge his support for Davie.

"I wanted him to tell me, ‘Do you feel that same excitement’ and he did and that's what excites me because it is a challenge,” Nuñez said. “I mean our budget is a challenge.”
