ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Karim Ezzeddine no longer a member of the UNM men’s basketball team.
Ezzeddine, who averaged 4 points and 3 rebounds in 17 games, will pursue a professional career overseas.
Ezzeddine's departure caps off a tough stretch for the Lobos.
They will go into Saturday’s game against Wyoming on a three-game losing streak.
The Cowboys are also struggling. They have not won a conference game and are 3-13 overall.
Despite their record, Paul Weir, UNM head basketball coach, is not taking Wyoming lightly.
“They beat South Carolina they were up at UNLV for a decent part of the game,” Weir said. “They are capable when they get the game played how they want. They are very deliberate, they know it's going to go through Justin James."
Tipoff for Saturday’s game is scheduled for 4 p.m. at The Pit.
