Former Cibola High School soccer player headed to MLS

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Albuquerque native Sergio Rivas will play in the MLS.

Rivas was selected by the San Jose Earthquakes in the second round of the MLS draft Friday.

Rivas is coming off four years at Seattle University.

In high school, he was an all-state player at Cibola.
