ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The Lobos will have a tough test Saturday.

They take on the Fresno State Bulldogs, who are 5-1 on the year.

Quarterback Marcus McMaryion has led the high-powered offense this season.

He as conference Player of the Year candidate with 11 touchdowns and two interceptions.

Despite his early season success, he isn’t taking the Lobos lightly.

“They are definitely a young team,” McMaryion said. “They're going to be there, only going to get better every year so that's kind of scary thing about playing teams like that.”

Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 5:30 p.m.
