Isotopes beat Rockies in exhibition game, 7-3

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- For the first time since 2010, the Rockies and Isotopes played an exhibition game in Albuquerque.


More than 12,000 fans showed up for the Monday afternoon game.

Dom Nunez had a great game for the Isotopes, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs.

Isotopes pitcher Peter Lambert had seven strikeouts in five innings.

He gave up a home run to Nolan Arenado in the third inning.

However, the Isotopes ran away with the game, beating the Rockies 7-3.

Opening day for the Isotopes is Thursday at home.
