ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Lobos women’s soccer team held day two of its camp Tuesday.

It features kids from ages 6 to 13.

For the campers, the four-day clinic is about a lot more than just soccer, it's a chance to make friends.

“It's really easy to make friends and all of the coaches are super nice," said Ellis Campbell.

Heather Dyke, UNM women’s soccer head coach, echoed that sentiment.

"The great thing about camp it has nothing to do with what club you play for or what school you go to. Once you're in here, you're a part of the camp, so I think for a lot of them it breaks down walls and you get to know new people,” said Heather Dyke, UNM women’s soccer head coach.

The soccer camp continues Wednesday.
