ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Lobo football team was hitting the turf at Dreamstyle Stadium. One of the real key positions for the Lobos this season is wide receiver.

17 receivers will be on the roster this Fall. Elijah Lilly, Jay Griffin, and Anselem Umeh give the Lobos plenty of speed.

Their focus during spring practice is to master the new playbook and get the new players up to speed.

"Gaining chemistry, learning the playbook like the back of your hand, and just being consistent," Lobo wide receiver, Anselem Umeh, said. "That is what we really need on offense and will win a lot of ball game with that."
