ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Lobo football team will finish up spring workouts a week from Saturday, but if head coach Bob Davie has a concern – it's about his defensive line.

The Lobos are solid in a number of areas, including the offensive line and quarterbacks, but that front seven on defense was hurt by injuries last season. Towards the end of the year the Lobos couldn't stop anybody.

"We've got a couple defensive linemen out for the spring," Davie said. "Which we're really thin up front, but you know, they're excited. It's a pretty multiple scheme and I think the more multiple the scheme is sometimes the guys are more engaged because they're excited about learning and it's new and it's fresh."
