ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The UNM football team will wrap up spring season practice on Friday.

Joe Dailey is in his first year as offensive coordinator for the team.

He’s also the quarterback coach.

Dailey said it’s his job to keep guys like Sheriron Jones on the same page.

“My job as a quarterback coach is to train this specific attitude, this specific routine for him to trust that,” Dailey said. “If you can that over a period of time, he should have success. Any time he gets distracted with his attitude or something going through his routine is missed, a signal or something like that, then there's doubt."

The Lobos begin their season on Aug. 31 against Sam Houston State at Dreamstyle Stadium.
