Lobo women fall to SDSU 61-59

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The Lobo women made a late rally but fell short against San Diego State Wednesday afternoon.

The Lobos got off to a good start, going up 18-13 after the first quarter.

The Aztecs came back in the second quarter to tie it 28-28 by halftime.

The Aztecs came back from the break hot. They scored 19 points and held the Lobos to 12 points in the third quarter.

The Lobos made a late rally in the fourth quarter and had a chance to tie the game. However, Jayla Everett's shot bounced off the rim. 

The Lobos are now 8-2 in the conference and 18-3 overall. They play Nevada Saturday at The Pit.
