Lobos can't finish sweep of visiting Rebels on Sunday

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The visiting UNLV Rebels managed to avoid a road sweep at the hands of the New Mexico baseball team Sunday, after the Lobos outscored UNLV 19-7 over the first two matchups in the weekend series.

Trevor Horn pitched 6.2 scoreless innings for the Rebels (29-14) en route to his third win on the season. Only a trio of Lobos managed to get hits off UNLV pitching Sunday, resulting in an 8-3 defeat.

The Lobos (14-32-1) next head on the road to Phoenix for a pair of matchups against Grand Canyon University this week.
