ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Lobos men's basketball coaches are in full recruiting mode, gearing up for the November signing period.

However, the players are still working hard and trying to develop the same kind of chemistry that last year’s team used to get them to the Mountain West championship game.

UConn transfer Vance Jackson says the groundwork is there to take on the elite Mountain West teams, like the Nevada Wolf Pack.

“They are a very good program, we are a very good program as well and all the teams in the Mountain West,” Jackson said. “I just feel like, you know, how we practice and I just feel like we’re going to get better, I'm excited.”
