LAS VEGAS, N.M.- Mike Bradbury, UNM women’s basketball head coach, is hopeful the team’s season is not over after they suffered an upset loss in the Mountain West Conference Tournament.

“Nobody's career up here is over,” Bradbury said. “We're 41 in the RPI so this is definitely not our last game.”

The Lobos fell to San Diego State in overtime Monday night.

The Aztecs finished the game strong, outscoring the Lobos in the fourth quarter and in overtime.

The biggest bright spot for the Lobos was Mountain West Player of the Year Jaisa Nunn.

She scored 24 points and pulled down 19 rebounds.

“With our record, we definitely worked hard,” Nunn said. “We try to win every single game, hopefully, we will have a postseason.”

The Lobos will find out Monday night whether they will play in the NCAA Tournament.
