ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Texas Tech extended the New Mexico baseball team's losing streak to 10 games after a 20-9 decision Tuesday afternoon at Santa Ana Star Field.

UNM held a 3-2 lead through two innings before Texas Tech surged ahead with a four-run third inning and a three-run fourth. From there, the Lobos couldn't keep pace with the Red Raiders' scoring output.

Justin Watari went 4-for-5 for New Mexico with three runs scored while Jared Mang was 3-for-5 with five RBIs and five runs scored.

Lobo starter Brian Coffey took the loss on the mound. Texas Tech's Josh Jung was a perfect 5-for-5 with eight RBIs, including two home runs.

UNM (12-22-1) hasn't won a game since a 9-5 win over San Diego State on March 30. The Lobos return to Mountain West play this Friday, opening a three-game series at home against UNLV.
