ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The UNM men will play its second exhibition match on Thursday night at home against the Colorado School of Mines. The Lobos won their first exhibition match against Air Force 3-1 this past Saturday.

Defense should be a strong part of this year's team. They only gave up more than two goals in a match once last year and posted nine shutouts.

"We always say that defense wins championships, and it's true in soccer," goalkeeper Jason Beaulieu said. "It would be difficult to allow multiple goals every game and have a good season, so we always want to start out with a good defense."
