ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The UNM baseball team is back in Albuquerque after a road trip to Reno, Nevada where the Wolfpack swept the Lobos and extended their losing streak to nine games.

The schedule doesn't get any easier this week as Texas Tech comes to Santa Ana Star Field on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Lobos will another quality NCAA tournament team. The Red Raiders made it to the College World Series in 2014 and 2016.

Coach Ray Birmingham will try to get his young team going with a four-game homestand on deck.

"You keep your kids' goals in a very focused small amount and not worry about the rest of it, because if you take care of the little stuff, the big stuff happens," he said.

In El Paso, Texas, the UNM softball team lost to UTEP 7-0 on Monday. UNM returns to conference play this week when it hosts a three-game series with Utah State, starting Friday.
