ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Seven students at Eldorado signed their letters of intent on Wednesday.

Riley McClanahan will run cross-country in the Ivy League for Princeton.

“When I first found out, I started crying. I was excited and happy. I couldn't believe it,” Riley said. “I went to visit the campus, actually, a couple of weeks ago. I found it to be just beautiful. The architecture and the environment was very welcoming, so I just thought it was a perfect fit.”

Two student-athletes at Eldorado will stay in the state for their college careers.

Lauren Griego will run cross-country and Eastern New Mexico University and Gracelyn Stubbs will play volleyball for the Greyhounds.

Two student athletes from La Cueva also signed letters of intent on Wednesday.

Elena Garcia will play volleyball at Central Oklahoma and Julian Lee will play tennis at LeTourneau University.
