NM United plans to celebrate LGBTQ community with 'Pride on the Pitch'

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — For the first time in over a month, New Mexico United will play for the home crowd.

United will host Oklahoma City Energy Wednesday at Isotopes Park.

United is holding a 4-point lead for first in the Western Conference. 

"The Pride on the Pitch is going to be something special," said Troy Lesesne, head coach for United. "I think it's going to be incredible for us to be able to celebrate everyone, inclusion, love – it's going to be phenomenal." 

The game begins at 7 p.m.
