NMHU's Topal wins national title in women's triple jump

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — In track and field, New Mexico Highland's Annie Topal is a national champion.

The sophomore took first in triple jump at the NCAA Division II meet. 

NMHU had three competitors place in the top five.

Sharon Toako placed fifth for javelin and Serena Canegan placed third for high jump.
