Not long ago, Delaney Markham and Sarah Ward were Lobo campers.

"It was always just a lot of fun and I remember I was always exhausted but always had so much fun here," Ward said.

Ward and Markham now play for the Lobo women's soccer team.

Both grew up in Albuquerque. Markham went to La Cueva, Ward graduated from Albuquerque High.

Markham says she relishes the chance to be part of a program that taught her so much.

"It's really awesome. I like being able to influence the younger kids because I know that I looked up to the Lobos when I was younger," said Markham.
