ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — What started as a group of six people has quickly become a group of nearly 300, rallying together to celebrate the state's pro soccer team, New Mexico United. They're called The Curse.

Whether it's a home match or a road match, The Curse unites to cheer on their favorite team. They are the official supporters group for New Mexico United.

"Every good soccer team has a supporters group, needs a supporters group," said David Carl, The Curse co-president. "We decided we're going to be the loud and rowdy folks there."

The Curse makes sure that players know they have support in the stands – they can be found in Sections 116 and 118 of Isotopes Park.
