SALT LAKE CITY – A walkoff homer by their opponent proved to be the difference-maker in a dramatic 9th inning that saw the Isotopes cross home plate four times to take a 9-8 lead for a brief time in Salt Lake City.

Unfortunately, a two-run dinger in the bottom of the inning off the bat of the Bees' Chris Carter – following a leadoff homer by Jose Miguel Fernandez – would make the comeback moot for the 'Topes, who fell 11-9.

With the loss, Albuquerque drops to 7-11 on the season while Salt Lake improves to 12-6.

Before the game on Sunday, David Dahl and Noel Cuevas were called up to join the Colorado Rockies. It's Dahl's first call-up since 2016 after he missed most of 2017 with injuries.

Cuevas, meanwhile, got his first taste of the big leagues Sunday after nine years in the minors. In the lineup against the Chicago Cubs in Colorado, Cuevas went 0-for-3 with a strikeout.

Dahl went 1-for-4 in Coors Field, picking up an RBI in the losing effort.
